What you linked isn't talking about the entire site. It literally says that the signature page is secure. But they don't mention the entire site being secure. I wonder why...
Here it is 3.5 years ago being hosted over http and not redirecting to https. It looks like they changed in 2018.

You don't know what affiliate deals they have with the manufacturer. Amazon pays a flat percentage.

Affiliate revenue. The same reason they recommend all the other products on their site. It's advertising disguised as product reviews. You are a sucker if you believe anything an Amazon affiliate is telling you.

This has been going on for at least a week. People have been sharing a link that blue screens anyone that views it. I'm keeping link previews and embedded media off permanently. This is the second severe security issue with discord in only a few months.

I agree. We need to start instituting temperature checks at all businesses and mandatory mobile phone contact tracing. This would help reduce crime as well.
