overall not so much, but basically if inside tmux you have 100 terminals opened and only 10 of those has 'agents' it will allow you switch quickly between those 10 terminals without spending too much time on locating those. also it will show statuses about agents, is it work done already and you may need to check it and stuff like this.

I think it exactly what I'm trying to say. Current state is that GPUs that Nvidia produced are not really in use, they mostly stored in warehouses as is not enough power for them so while they has 'potential future value' it's not proven to be created as lot could happen, unlikely natural disaster or they just could loose in value as demand drops or competitor will came with cheaper option.

that definitely $80 of value for Nvidia added but does it really added something to whole system? if some physical goods moved from one company to another with generation of VAT, does it really add up to economy as whole or just one seller made bad decision and loosed some $, other gained few $ but overall balance of value just still same.

lot of ads everywhere offering to buy your codebase of real product/star up even it long gone or failed (offer usually price per lines of code). So most likely that they have bunch of abandoned codebases between small and medium sizes and probably also some fake codebases as well.

yes, and it's already some offerings like that but they all cost a lot because they only good for "I have some idea of workload for N hours or days" lets rent it and run. That fine for some experimentation but if you think about renting something 24/7 even for example to share it with the friends that will cost at least 4x from any API prices as result (something like rtx 6000 48gb will cost ~$470/m).

it worked for me okay when I needed it for myself in my personal account. But when I tried setup this for a company I spent almost a day solving lot of small puzzles in GCE like how to tell CEO that he have to connect billing account created for other purposes (and he not even remember at time that it exist) to new project and all other things that others talking about.

I'm always very frustrated about this pencils manufacturer as they avoiding using standard softness marking like everybody else (..H,HB,B,2B..etc).

openai works well with subscription, as many non major providers subscriptions

it doesn't imply that lot legacy apps won't crash in prod when it will be actually released. Cool that some complex app is working but is nothing proving that everything will be fine when everyone will try to upgrade.

I don't think that Devs making those chooses but business and industry forcing devs to explore other options. One of the main issues with Scala currently that is no good selling story anymore for a business peoples. Even Rust story with 'memory safety' very fragile because not a lot of businesses see it as huge issue which worth additional effort (probably only MS backing helps there).

In the past it was lot of selling points that business could see:

- 'better java' - more velocity over java without loosing anything

- 'type safety / FP' - less errors that cost money in production (backed by 'Typesafe/Lightbend' company)

- 'akka' - platform for distributed/concurrency applications (in pre kubernetes era was big demand for it)

- 'spark' - initially Scala was only way to use it fully

- 'twitter' - startup success story

- and few more

But now nothing from this list has any real meaning for peoples making decisions currently.

Kotlin actually suffer from this too as 'better java' not that big deal when java constantly improving.

I heard that recruiters also use amount of connections to filter out candidates, and they probably view it as if you don't have 500-1000 connection probably you just don't fit basic requirements of the the role even with 10+ yoe.

Even is so stupid but looks like in last few years lot of strange metrics like that used more and more.
