We are seeking a Staff AI Engineer to architect, develop, and lead the implementation of groundbreaking AI-driven capabilities at Sirona Medical. In this pivotal role, you’ll work at the forefront of applied AI—leveraging Large Language Models (LLMs), multimodal AI, and advanced agentic workflows to build real-world healthcare solutions that improve clinical outcomes and operational efficiency.

At Sirona Medical, we’re building software that enables physicians to work as fast as they can think.

Design, develop, and fine-tune generative AI models for clinical applications, including semi-automated medical report generation, patient data summarization, and clinical decision support.

Prototype and integrate AI models into real-world healthcare applications, collaborating with product and engineering teams to push models into production.

The Infrastructure Engineering team at Sirona is a dynamic, cross-functional group responsible for building and maintaining the foundational infrastructure that powers all of our products.

This position requires a deep understanding of both networking fundamentals as well as strong expertise in Kubernetes. You will be responsible for both designing and managing multi-tenant Kubernetes clusters and ensuring seamless network connectivity across customer cloud and on-prem environments.

- CCNA or CCNP certification - Deep expertise in Kubernetes, including managing multi-tenant clusters and utilizing controllers like Cert-Manager and Sealed Secrets.

We have a seasoned, high performing team and are looking to add one Senior Quality Assurance engineer to work on building and shipping features used by radiologists every time they sit down to care for patients.

About us: Python (Django), React, AWS, CI/CD, deploy minimum every 2 weeks. Work with product team, other engineers and internal and external radiologists (tons of voice of customer!) to solve problems of scale, latency and 2 and 3D image rendering (WebGl, D3, Three.js ) of radiology images (massive images rendered via Chrome browser)

You: US based and able to write and read Python code. Javascript experience (read and write) would be very nice to have as well.

Senior Backend Software Engineers at Sirona are responsible for the data-intensive applications and services we develop for reimagining the way doctors engage with medical images in the era of Computer Vision, NLP and Machine Learning. Software Engineers work in collaboration with our Product Designers, Product Managers and researchers/scientists to solve problems and further the application of technology in the radiology space.
