Can you provide the name and location of this grocery store? Or any grocery store that accepts btc?

I've never encountered ONE single grocery store, or store for that matter, that accepts bitcoin as payment.

> One thing I don't quite understand is how the CEO first claims that only 3% of the user base is using 3rd party apps, and then later claims that "And the opportunity cost of not having those users (3rd part app users) on our platform, on our advertising platform, is really significant"

People lie. It's really that simple. They give no data to back up their statistics, and we're expected to believe it as truth since they are in a position of power.

Been working in Data Analytics for 10 years now. Been trying to look for another job myself.

To use your 4x money argument - Why couldn't you care at least about 2x money? Or even 1x money? For the sake of being friends with your "friends"?

Friendship isn't an all or nothing proposition. You don't have to be perfectly aligned with another persons' morals and values to be friends with them. Sometimes just having one or two things in common is what is needed to keep those bonds going.

They need to attack the root of the problem.

Go after the recycling centers that buy these. Fine them into submission. Watch the market dry up.

Having ridden the self driving vans from Waymo in Arizona several times, it really does feel like stepping into the future. Although they only cover a specific geographical area, they have really refined the riding experience within it.

Emotions aside - copyright law is decades overdue for a revision. It is laughably out of date and unfair.

Not every law is right just because it's a law.
