I read the whole thing and I'm still confused. I'm getting it's an OS that's very portable. What does forward, contract driven mean? Is this like an AI generated project, because it doesn't mention that anywhere.

People still use MongoDB?

I find texting pretty decent but not ideal. Most alert systems offer it already, you know it's going to be a short message, and you'll be informed quickly of things instead of having to reach out somewhere.

Maybe there should be a texting app where you can make pages of contacts to swipe between, and you can customize notifications. If you want to get fancy, maybe local AI to determine if something looks important or not? They'll always have ALERT or something in the message.

Is there any service that exists to do this for people?

Like say you want your Twitter forwarded to your Facebook page and email list, you just punch in the logins and it does the rest?

Ideally it would fill in the details like formatting the images/video correctly

Is it possible to hook this up to some kind of satellite space simulator to control a virtual voyager?

I don't get the point, if someone is selling a domain the only content on the site will be advertising that. And you can bet people will forget to delete or not update the record as needed, making it kind of useless.

that would be so cool, but it'll be a long time to make the cost of an AI chip cheaper than a wifi enabled one if that's even possible.

Bet it has something to do with that new model being blocked by the US government. It was blocked for like a month but now that it's finally released they put the safe guards waay up in fear of that happening again.

One novel part here is every function is required to have tests that run at compile time.

I'm still skeptical of the value add having to teaching a custom language to an LLM instead of using something like lua or python and applying constraints like test requirements onto that.

My only comment is being able to call emergency services wherever you are is very useful. Pre-cell phone times was just hoping there was a landline somewhere. And you weren't able to get instructions from the operator and be with a fallen person at the same time.

I refuse to use reddit with it's modern UI. Once old.reddit.com dies I'm hanging up my spurs

Yes, but I'm willing to bet most workers don't follow strict digital life hygiene and cross contaminate all the time.

Well, they could easily push a software update to add ads to your TV without a rollback option and disable features if you don't allow it.

If you upgrade your TV on the regular I guess you'd just buy a new one, but treating it as a dumb display guarantees you can keep using it as long as it physically works.

The whole thing is bogus, you could plop the hardware in the middle of a desert and have everything perform way better for cheaper.

I'm surprised nvidia put their name on this.
