Couple days late responding, but this is precisely what happened to my mom. It's like your whole paragraph was written about us.

I got diagnosed super late in life and I'm currently enjoying the fun cessation phase of said medication. Calmness is not the word I would use to describe it, but I'm glad it works for other people. Couldn't pay me a million dollars to take another pill, I'll just procrastinate and get bored often

I helped my mother go through this after her psych decided it was time for her to cold turkey a 4x a day xanax prescription she'd been taking for 20+ years. 5 total ER trips, 3 separate hospitalizations, and a full year of absolute misery before she started getting some relief. A YEAR.

I have watched family members die of AIDS, cancer, and Alzheimers. I have myself recovered from alcoholism (5 years next month!). Nothing in all my life has ever held a candle to how hellish Benzo withdrawal is. These drugs need to be banned. Period.

Unhappy to confirm this one. All the experience in the world is useless when the applicants-to-jobs ratio is 2000:1

And we're all just supposed to suck up the fact that our chosen career morphed into "Babysit a machine" no matter what it is? What a swell timeline

Almost exact same experience here, but I'm using Opencode's $10/month sub. It's perma set to DS 4.1 flash and I have anywhere from 3-5 agents going at a time. Never once hit a cap of any sort. I have absolutely no idea why people would be paying $200/mo when you can get perfectly good AI for $10 from multiple places

Dark Reader's slowness primarily stems from its auto-detection of pages that need darkening. If you turn that off and manually enable it on pages that need it, it doesn't feel any slower than anything else

It's also extraordinarily easy and discreet to grow cubensis shrooms. The age of buying awesome RCs online are OVER, there's nothing left but horrible, horrible chemicals. Do not go there

They absolutely understood exactly what they were doing. They're stupid, but they're not STUPID. Don't let them excuse malice by faking incompetence

They ARE needed in their home country, that's why they're here. The fact is simply that the best way to help their family is to make American money

As somebody else with a game engine that has its own scripting language:

AI is incredibly good at making scripting languages with your ideal dream syntax/functionality. It's pretty fun to use it.

(No, neither my engine nor my language is worth using and never will be)

Do you have some evidence of that? I use both daily and my experience has been the opposite, if anything. Once I was as proficient at Rust as I was at Go, the "increased development and maintenance time" disappeared completely.

The funniest part of this is that you're paying to still see 10% of the ads. I use Firefox and see 0% of the ads for free

When I got laid off because of it.
