It's only illegal if you get caught and find someone willing to prosecute you. Also if penalty for breaking law is a fine, then this law only applies to poor people.

Any sufficiently advanced malice is indistinguishable from stupidity.

If they asked about it and you answered, they would no longer have a good excuse to not hire you.

And we are not the ones that live in the future... This two pre-bronze age tribes live in it, the future we all will experience with collapse of our natural world and our civilization.

It's not a law if it can be selectively enforced against individuals, powers that be don't like.

Because there is still time.

We might not stop what is already happening or what will happen, but we still have time to make it less severe than it would be if no action would be made.

We still can save lives, not all of them but some and for this people it will make a difference.

> It's easy to say these anti-capitalistic platitudes, but do you really want to live in a society where the concept of private ownership is not supported by the state? >

There is a country that allows police to just take your stuff and then demands you to prove it wasn't illegal. Also such property can be used/sold/spent by police force it was stolen by. Does it sound like private ownership is supported by the state? BTW. It's called civil forfeiture and country is named USA.

Just because something is in do-or-die situation doesn't mean that they have some kind of magical advantage over fat cat. Being in that situation means there is very real possibility of doing "die" part and we have lots of examples of them doing so.

Also Theranos was do-or-die and we know how it ended.
