This party is not far-left, it is just left. But that is not the point. My point is that a headline about anti-left alarmism hit the HN front page. This is unusual; the HN crowd keep their discussions out of daily politics most of the time. So, this has the smell of importance. Alarm! Far-left!
And this is weird because Germany is in real danger of electing a fascist government at the moment. There is not the tiniest chance of socialist projects coming to power, but the far-right is winning—except for Berlin.
And then an OMG-far-left headline pops up here. This headline was made to push anti-left fear, not to inform the readers.
As a walkthrough, it is nice. But as the foundation for the game designers, it would be a fun because it is so lighthearted.
I don't think it is useful to detect AI writing. I told my AI not to use em dashes.
Geo links are from a RFC and are plain simple: geo:52.512974,13.420131
Clicking this link should open your chosen local map app at this position.
But it does not, actively sabotaged by big map app players who want only links to their app.
It has a lnsd daemon which runs the full stack as a native binary and some firmware implementations (like for the Heltec T114).
I always remember the movie Brazil when I have to interact with a stupid cybernetic apparatus like every big company, where simple programs are the brain and low-paid humans are the actuators.
That's horrible, worse than attacking a machine with malware, damaging persons and societies.
Decades of ad propaganda have tricked people into seeing them as something 'normal'. But we shouldn't accept being under constant attack of brain worms.
I propose a sane rule for all humans: if you see an ad somewhere, or if you suspect a hidden ad ('influencers' trying to promote something), close the tab immediately and never return to that site.
Decentralised infrastructure: good
Centralised infrastructure: bad
Good and bad for you, of course. For the big companies selling and controlling this stuff, it's vice versa.
Just stay alert and don't chain yourself with big tech dependencies. The reason Git is great is its decentralised nature. If you got so far, why cripple yourself by running your traffic through a single American company like Cloudflare?
