and yet non-American cheap bare bones EV exist for other parts of the world but we wont let them in because Detroit dinosaurs only want to make gigantic SUV and pickups because they are higher margin. the US is afraid of the Chinese doing what japan and korea did 30 years ago and force the dinos to compete again.

They deliberately trained the models in how to use various hacking tools, didn't give them the standard alignment training let them know where the answer key was left the models with access to said tool and told them to maximize their score then left them unsupervised for days with internet access (yeah they were sandboxed but again handed hacking tools and the training to use them if they really did want them to access the internet you wouldn't plug in the Ethernet cable) they wanted this to happen

>Oh AI will take our jobs..? LET IT!!

Except people still need to eat and.pay for a roof over their heaf

>Who wants to work all your life and still not be able to afford a house?

That is the fear they have from ai

>Instead of asking to be wage slaves your entire lives, demand your politicians to give you UBI.

Except the same people leading these companies do everytjing thaey can to avoid paying taxes that could fund ubi.

Elons whole Doge fiasco, the google guys fighting wealth taxes in california all fights against helping the people they are displacing. The tech ceos talk a good game about an ai powered life of luxury and ease but its not for you and me its for them and fuck the proles.

Layers of defense, whats needed is the vision model detection, then those elements need to be uploaded to a crowd sourced blocklist so they can be prevented from loading to begin with.

And institutional control of information didnt really start again until the Statute of Anne struck up a deal between printers and the state giving printers copyright over written works and the state the right to cencor and ban works the disapproved of nearly 250 years latter.

Radio gave us Demagogues like Father Coughlin in the US and Hitler in Germany, and we still havent dealt with the problems radio introduced when television came along and now we have the internet with social media, podcast, and algorithmic echochambers, and algorithm induced radicalization. Radio television internet any one is just as much a shock to society as print was and we still havent figured out how to adapt yet to any fully.

More than that it was an enabling tool.

Republicans for decades have claimed that the government cant do anythingright/good and that we must deregulate and let the free market do everything.

Problem is the government is actually pretty good at doing somethings, so Republicans break things until they can use them as examples of government inefficiency then privatize it for there own profit.

Doge was made to break the government so Republicans could point at what was left and say "see government is broken"

But Musk ran it and he's and idiot that had no idea what he doing so istead of it slowly all going to shit so no one would remember it all working as intended it started to fall apart to soon. So we still have people that will point to the real cause.

>How come we allowed all these cronies to put camera and do surveillance.

Because city counsel meetings are scheduled at awkward times for anyone employed to actually show up to. So only tech unaware old people show up

>>If there’s any bootlegging going on it’s Anthropic that’s doing the bootlegging but having mirrored the video etc sufficiently to beat copyright law.

>US courts have consistently ruled it's fair use.

And they also have ruled that the that output of an AI isn't copyrightable.

As such copying claudes output isnt even fair use as that is an exemption to copyright but the same as copying public domain work which any and all are allowed to do.

Sigh. What ever happened to the principle of least privilege and why arent we applying it to AI agents. They ought to be locked in a box and not capable to act outside designated task.
