Pushing 50, homeless, broke, last interview today from a rented office with overdue rent.

Suicidal for a long time.

Interview fails? I'm out. I have everything set - account deletions, device wipes, and method. Will keep it low key if that happens.

The previous reality for sports betting was mostly illicit, often with some goon using physical violence or threat thereof for collections. This is not to say the new reality is an improvement.

Searched for a band/album for which I was a credited performer. The band has eight figures in views - enough to justify pursuing.

Got a 500 shown as an error message on your site, related to a failed connection to Spotify.

The mother said it was a conscious decision to promote birthing a strong, resilient child, based on her belief on the matter. I have no view, but it's an interesting report, given that her kid truly is an athletic outlier.

Anecdata, but I spoke to a mom here who declined an epidural during childbirth by choice. Her son is a champion big wave surfer.

For anyone finding this, I used this during the beta. Beats GPT-5.5 xhigh on complex tasks. Since it’s expensive and difficult to subsidize, use it for the most challenging problems.

OAI/ANT can subsidize their own subscriptions, so it’s hard to compete there. But the results I got from fugu-ultra were impressive.

The article was about misuse of generative language models by lawyers.

Related somewhat: has anyone read the sci fi book “deep crossings” and if so they remember the discussion of a pancake?

Yeah, such words are a giveaway.

Another:

It is not “this simplified, kindergarten-level explanation”, it is “this explicit, thoughtful one”

In this case I suspect the poster used GPT (looks like OpenAI) to generate the initial response and then edited it.
