I love it!!! I've tried years ago to make something like this, it didn't work out. But it makes me so happy to see that you did it! Great job!

It's amazing how many different vitamins and minerals we really need to get for optimal health, compared to what we actually do get and are able to muddle along for some time with.

Vitamin D is something its easier to find and still people end up deficient and don't realize it. I think it's particularly telling how the article notes the deficiency can start in the mother and immediately be passed along to a child. How do children grow with inadequate foods? Are we collectively failing to reach our potential?

The tides are really high right now. It's very obvious that the water is much higher than usual. Can't wait until it starts raining on me more than usual too... I'll have extra water from both directions.

I think for that last part it's more the other way around.

I was a constant instacart user, never liked door dash though. What changed is that now instead of using Instacart I have a regular person who comes by to help me out at home with all sorts of chores and for me now it makes much more sense to pay her to also do the grocery shopping. I get much better service too, she knows my preferences and also does the inventory beforehand and puts everything away for me.

I found her for free on Facebook posting in a community group. It is a high trust situation but I realize a lot of these extra fees are because we try to operate in a low trust environment, which is really not optimal. Being able to trust your community is much better for everyone.

Such a clean example and a funny reaction. It's true though. Do we get to complain when the problem is we built ourselves a mirror and wow does it reflect!?

I know fake chocolate is getting dragged through the coals but lately I've been eating this new candy called Harken, and while it's made with dates and sunchokes, it is so extremely delicious. It's not the old candy, but it's a new delicious candy.

Am I doing the same sort of exercise prep when I write out a plan before executing the actions?

I did think from the title it would be a silly story, but it does make me thing about how mentally reviewing something before trying to do it does help out the result.

Yes, it was "Design a 6 sided drinking glass", and I wanted the 6 sided limitation removed.

Then in this class design means draw 6-10 preliminary sketches and choose one, then draw and paint 3 perspectives and a 3D view.

I also have the same 'welcome to the real world' feeling. I would say I've been bumbling along for 15 years, but recently I've discovered the joys of hiring others. I watched a YT video that was like give yourself time back by buying help before you think you're ready.

Now I try to spend most of my time doing things more unique to me that I can't hire another person to do. It's still a moving target though, I'm going to check out that book another comment recommended.

I remember one pivotal moment in college being when I was given an assignment, and I asked if some of the restrictions on the task could be removed. The teacher told me what I really did was just ask for the hard version of the problem.

I asked her what she meant, and instead of telling me, she just laughed and said go ahead, remove the restrictions and see for myself.

She was right! Without the restrictions there were so many more possibilities I had to work much harder to complete the assignment. It was still fun though and I learned more than just the assignment from that lesson.

I appreciate your low-poly aesthetic. I bet you and like half this website have written a video game in highschool. You have found the right group to tell about it.
