The biggest danger here is not terribly clear. Somewhere in the intersection of people cluelessly walking into the bike lane and bicyclists hitting the clueless.
The methane that landfills produce is routinely captured and burned for power, they may otherwise flare it off before it can contribute to the greenhouse effect. This is also mentioned in the article.
I haven't heard about Heard Bots myself, only the Depp Fakes. It's not an unreasonable question to ask for external corroboration when someone claims that something happened and their source is that they saw it.
Sadly, I am not invested enough to do research on this matter and uninterested in having an LLM convincingly tell me whatever it reads on the internet is the truth about this.
I’m not sure the author has any options worth paying attention to since they didn’t care enough to write them down. Plus, I don’t particularly trust this article, since I have no domain expertise in this area and my bs detector doesn’t work in this circumstance.
If it's just a hypothetical, consider this:
The money doubles and everyone laughs about it in the end.
It’s what you do when anyone is in breach of contract or some other civil matter. You just sue them.
If it’s a criminal fraud, there’s other people who will help, we call those the authorities.
Honestly, I found it illuminating. I don’t depend on a machine to keep me alive directly, but it made me think about how much I would resent dangling at the end of a line held by a company that would cut me off if investors thought it would make them slightly richer. One that cuts every corner they can, and doesn’t actually care about you. I imagine that resentment over years, a quarter century of things getting worse on the “caring whether you live or die” front, might lead to the feelings the author expressed.
It’s pretty clear that discussion is not desired, unless you have the cure for type 1 diabetes in hand before you send the first reply.
Maybe the newspaper of record also got distracted on the way to saying it because they treat the effect of elections as irrelevant and report on it like they're talking about drafting players for the NBA.
