I completely disagree, I think a very large majority of players think that games are games and that ads support the developer - they don't think the game is being maniuplated to support ads.

It's evil, and just another example of nice things (games that are just games) we can't have because of capitalism.

Isn't every single company perverting features to enslave their users? Why single out Adobe? It's capitalism that stops us from having nice things.

I can think of features for basically any paid or unpaid app that I can't have because it won't make the company money.

I've always wanted to someone to make a website where we collect "nice ideas we'll never have because of capitalism".

Your statement makes it seem like we had no problem losing professions to automation. I'd argue this isn't true.

There are plenty of poeple who have inadequate work the world over because there isn't enough paid work to do, and most professions are servicing wants, not needs, so the demand is very elastic, with many people now multi talented and still not making ends meet.

More conspiracy? Why does it take conspiracy level thinking to believe that the IDF missed plans for the attack when the head of security of Egypt personally flew to Israel to tell them about the attack?

How do you miss that exactly? You don't, you miss it intentionally.

Read the news, not the prop slop.

Don't forget Israel gov 100% knew Hamas was going to attack on October 7th, and intentionally allowed it to happen because of the public outcry it would generate. The more hostages and the worse it was, the better the propoganda. They'll take the West Bank. They're taking Lebanese land too.

They knew the attack was going to happen and allowed the music festival to go on a day longer, one might guess they were frothing at the mouth at how good that propoganda was going to be.

Take a read of the book title The Palestine Laboratory - How Israel Exports the Technology of Occupation Around the World - and you'll even learn that Israel has a long long history of murder around the world, aint none of this new.

One side won the propoganda war, and it wasn't the dirt poor Palestinains.

The point of any tool is to learn how to use it best. That's the difference between slicing off your arm, or building a chair.

LLMs don't read minds. There's always a chasm between you (your ideas) and them becoming reality. Exactly how people cross that chasm is all the rage right now, and there are a million ways to do it - but just expecting the LLM to pull details out of a few words isn't going to produce anything decent.

If you're following climate science for the past couple of decades, you will have heard that from climate scientists.

The reason you don't hear it normally is because laypeople like yourself don't understand you're being propogandised to, by climate scientists like Michael Mann.

If you look at climate scientists who aren't liars, like James Hansen, and don't use models with things like fantasy CCS in them (all mainstream climate models - designed to minimise bad outcomes in every imagineable way possible), you get the temperature rises we're seeing now. That's why everyone has been so panicked this whole time, trying to stop this like crazy.

Many laypeople understand this, they understand the real science, and that they are being lied to from every angle about how bad it is.

Not a regular telegram user here but I follow a Ukranian guy who hand builds led bulbs/products by hand. He has a telegram group chat where he enthusiastically posts pictures of everything he's doing, it's great.

I thought it already was used to sexually harass people by creating naked versions of them.

Let me get this right.

The accusation that an article was written by AI negates the science of toxic chemical leeching?

They are saying that, and most real world LED lighting uses very cheap diodes, like, 99.9999% of them, which create very poor colour compared with incandescent bulbs, which create perfect colour representation.

It's a big thing and you can buy LEDs which produce a better colour range, but they're much more expensive and not as energy efficient, because creating bold reds costs hard energy that no diode trick will ever get around that.

I'm sure the trip to the police station and immediate release is a real setback for these people. Unless they're breaking more serious laws, no one is paying to put these people behind bars for any length of time.

I mean, you're right in theory, but in the real world things are very different.

Extremely talented, studied, hard working humans perform complex tasks all the time, and never with 100% win rate over all time.

In other examples, almost every single person has had the experience of saying, "turn right", "oh I meant left sorry, I knew it was right too, I don't know why I said left". Even the most sophisticated humans have made this error. A computer would never.

Humans are deeply flawed and after pre-selection require expensive training to perform complex tasks at a never perfect success rate.
