I don't care about AI being used to build it, or to write the site, but I do care about why its so much faster than redis. Antirez is pretty performance-obsessed. But outside of that, this looks like a fun project.

If you're looking for a decent local model, JevK5-4B is excellent. On my own benchmark for the things I work with (seeing if the answer to a question was correct given the evidence that was provided), it was within a point of jev.

When people say they use copilot, I no longer have any idea which copilot they're talking about. Most of the time, neither do they.

It really does just work. And it works so well I already integrated it into my product. Saves me about 75% of costs for the section its working in, which isn't a small amount. I see a lot of negativity and I don't really get it either. Its so cheap and so fast, why not give it a try?

People creating free software for everyone to use, only to pull it away when suddenly there's a technology that can instantly let everyone use it at the drop of a hat, is not something I quite understand. If you're doing it so you show people, hey I made this, then you can still do that. If you're doing it to help the world, then that's very much happening. Of if you're doing it just for fun, that's possible too, though I totally understand how much less fun it is when AI can rip it out in a few minutes.

When you move the app to the trash, it leaves the server you have to install. It's still running and set to restart automatically.

No, they were using llm prompts to make decisions.

Fun read about Azure and having 173 agents running a node: https://isolveproblems.substack.com/p/how-microsoft-vaporize...

Probably just a coincidence that Github started to have issues after beginning their move to Azure at the end of last year.

> We wanted it, and Meta gave everyone the ability to have it.

Slight modification: We wanted to feel good about things, and Meta, knowing exactly what they were doing, took advantage of that to enrich themselves while gaslighting everyone that their manipulation and exploitation was totally ok and normal.

Its easy for people without a conscience like Zuckerberg to do that and laugh about it.

Meta has warped society to think that life is meaningless without affirmation.

No amount of money can fix that or punish them.

I think that sharing things can be wonderful, but monetizing that or adding Like counts to gamify it is very damaging to people. This idea that everyone should know better and take a ideological stand against some dumb app is ridiculous. Life can be hard at times, and these apps manipulated that.

You can't turn around though. Everything goes toward the black hole. If you turned around, atoms would be moving away from, or at the least changing their direction in respect to the black hole. And that's not possible. You wouldn't even see anything because all light is going toward the center, and it wouldn't go into your eyes.

Unless you went in butt-first, but the path of the photons would have changed and would now be going toward the black hole, and everything would look probably all smushed together.

I lived in Seattle for a couple of years, where its completely legal, and I almost never smelled it. I smell it far more often in cities where its illegal.
