I'd happily be on call for my own code.

Other people's code? Not so much, I trust that a lot less.

I can look at mystery code in the work app from five years ago, and know that I wrote it without any memory of doing so. I can remember the warty bits and pitfalls, maybe not in great detail but enough to jog the memory and I'll be more effective while working on it than someone seeing it for the first time.

This is not correct. You got points for doing reviews, no matter which option you chose in the review (except for skipping it obviously).

This doesn't make sense to me, because anyone could answer questions. You only ever needed 1 reputation to do so, which you got on signup.

See this kind of bullshit is what drove people actually providing the answers away.

And if no-one is answering the questions, people will stop asking them.

Same sort of numbers, same sort of story here...

if there was a purple or teal one I would buy it in a heartbeat. Hell, even navy.

I can imagine the palm area on either side of the touchpad would get pretty funky too. On my space grey MBP its visibly worn there.

same

And Tailwind joining Shopify made quite a few people really look at Tailwind and say ... do we really need this after all?

I absolutely question the attention to detail and work ethic of anyone working on five issues at once, let alone "far more".
