It's human to do that because it's too dry and unwelcoming to talk in precise concepts disregarding any cognitive friendliness, not to mention do that all the time.
A computer programming in any high level language is concept talking all the time and only us nerds like it :D
Not even that as we form tribes with preferences to one or other computer lang.
Now we're talking less to each other and AI is going to influence us to invent a trillion things that will make understanding diverge and start to become scarce.
Only problem is that now I want all things to have this level of UI
Abstractions should be earned.
Not because executing them is expensive but because understanding them is.
Smalltalk is conceptual-centric in ways that are remarkably deep.
Pity our hardware architectures couldn't give us better hardware support.
Not that they didn't tried:
- Burroughs B5000 (1961)
- Intel iAPX 432 (1981–1986)
- BiiN project (1985–1990)
- Intel i960
- Rekursiv (Linn)
- jHISC ~2005
- MOOSS 2003
- Structural Object Processor (Xilinx)
And of course I can't wait to have the cat translator. That's a big startup idea BTW, just a bit too early still.

Looking for a remote mid or senior IC role with real ownership and preferably Rust-first backends. Distributed systems, fintech/crypto okay, AI infra / agent platforms; open to strong equity on early-stage.
A record that matters: between 2009 and 2015 I was a tech founder. Last nine years, three different teams, three different tech stacks, zero production incidents on the high-scale systems I owned. Many of these from zero to prod.
