The best OS to this day was 10.4 tiger that was solid as a rock even with the PowerPC to intel transition.

Typically, you see the logo before you get into the actual car. I would say you can tell by the shape, but some brands share too much in the looks department (cough Kia/Hyundai).

Ya, and it doesn't seem to pick up the context very well, and the quality of responses seem poorer.

I am really surprised how fast/responsive it is. Most UI frameworks feel clunky/slow and react ones feel even slower sometimes.

Its like a mini dot com crash. A lot of pandemic had incredible growth that is was truly sustainable. Now you have companies want their employees back in the office. So all that "growth" that could have been this year is not there.

Thank you for this, it saves me a lot of research; I have been considering going and getting a masters.

Apple is in between a rock and a hard place on this. Webkit activity really slowed down a lot. Apple is pretty much the main contributor. It also gives them the most flexibility to incorporate into their products. Blink engine is very slow on the Mac/Apple products, and would put Apple at the mercy of Google ultimately. The Gecko engine is something they could probably use, but there are a lot of "mixed" opinions on how good the engine is.

Sidenote: I love Apple products, but to be honest Apple is not the best at making software. Recently, the quality has declined too. Their great applications are a few niche professional apps not designed for the average user. They have also gotten a lot slower at releasing updates.

Am I not mistaken, but isn't this change going to make datetime calculation hell now; especially with legacy systems or am I missing something.

I think its odd that "military experts" are stumped:

If Russia performs a blitzkrieg like attack they would level Ukraine to the ground or destroy major infrastructure. Russia would have to pay to rebuild everything with a pissed off international community. That would cost a hell of a lot more than what they would gain. I don't see why they are surprised, after you realize Russia/Putin isn't trying to destroy, just conquer.

It appears like Russia just wants to take over the land, make it a puppet state, and benefit from its resources. Even the damage to civilian buildings look more of a scare tactic to get Ukrainians to surrender than to win by destruction. Countless sources have said that Russia didn't expect the pushback.

This whole thing is because Ukrainians have shown amazing resistance. If you look at military battles: Battle of Thermopylae. Battle of Thermopylae explains the advantages/current success of Ukrainians, hopefully with a better outcome <3.

The unknown is how Putin is going to save face after all of this.

Because a lot of devs where marketing against PHP the last decade or so. To be fair, PHP 7 and 8 are really changing the game, it isn't the same language it was a decade ago.

I had the kinesis advantage 3 for a little over a week. I have to say by far the most comfortable keyboard I have every used. I returned it because I didn't have the spare time to "adjust" to the layout. Its funny its been months and I still miss the feeling lol.

This is really scary as a whole. Even though you have less interest rate you could be overpaying for you house by 100k+ in the current market. When interest rates do rise in the future(if it doesn't we will have larger problems) more people will be underwater with their homes, some may choose not to pay as they may never be able to be positive on their homes.

Take into account that salaries are not rising at an equal level. This may be correcting itself: "minimum wage" jobs are paying near/over double to get employees. If this wage increase is temporary homes would be way overpriced. If it is not temporary "white collar"/"blue collar" jobs have to increase their salaries to be competitive; which would allow property values to stay or rise over time.

Increase new home supply. Given that the demand is extremely high and home supply is limited there will likely be an increase in new home supply. On average it will take a few years before new homeowners develop some equity in their homes. During those years are where new homes have a really good market. This would lower the value of homes faster. Especially in states that had the most migration during the pandemic.

Something that negate everything and allow house prices to sore is the upcoming wealth transfer from the boomer + gen x wealth transfer to millennials. This will hurt a lot of minority communities as they didn't have the time to develop as much wealth(segregation being a big hindrance for black communities, and a large of first generation unskilled immigrants who's kids are now starting to improve the situation). Ultimately, this may lead to a larger wealth gap which can destroy a lot of things and how civilizations fall.

Let me leave it with this: Millennials and Gen-Z are going to be living in very interesting times.
