Maybe it's the paper? I have a Lamy with a fine nib and it's amazing. I mostly use decent printer paper, but coarse paper like a typical composition book is not so great.

I had no idea other people do this too. To me, it doesn't even feel intentional.

I had that Apple powerbook G3 that had two hot swap bays for batteries/hard drives/media players AND a PCMCIA slot. Oh, and built-in ethernet. I remember adding Firewire support via PCMCIA. Good times.

Indeed. So many people seem not to realize that there will not be one final best source of music.

I love this article. Nice re-framing of color choices.

This makes me think it would be nice to have at least two functionally distinct comment types: remarks (to be visually hilighted), and temporarily disabled code (to be visually suppressed). I suppose comment lines (remarks) and comment blocks (code) could be used for this, but as the author points out this would need to be a widely adopted convention.

I use both, and both are good. Fastmail does calendars and notes. Both have roughly equivalent keyboard shortcuts in the web apps.
