I don't quite understand. Icons by default obviously is stupid. But meaningful icons for actions such as copy and paste seems like a very good idea to me. Personally I think there are not enough icons in MacOS right click menus for example. For me an icon makes it much easier to find the action I want to hse

yes but we still need both professions. In a way teeth and cars are similar. You need to regularly maintain them or they get bad. Even if you maintain problems might arise that need to be fixed. But both dentists and car mechanics can sell you repairs or stuff you dont need.

The reality is that normal people need to have a simpler solution they can trust. For nerds like us booting up tails and creating cold storage paper wallets is fine but definitely a solution for the general public

Yeah, as a somewhat new MacBook air user I'm also sceptical when people claim that any windows laptop is now better or at least as good as a MacBook.

I'm still traumatized by my windows laptop randomly turning on in my backpack, heating itself up and draining the battery because of windows.

Aside from that I'm now used to MacOS for my daily needs aside from gaming so windows laptop have to do a lot of work convincing me of getting back to them.

I have a custom domain for my emails with catch all. When I create an account somewhere I just use <name of the service>@my-domain.com

It's just so crazy that we are living in times where a notepad can be too slow. Wtf has happened?? How can they mess up a fucking Notepad App? Luckily I switched to MacOS mostly some time ago. Also has its issue but nothing compared to winslop

It sounds good but will this ever scale enough? Plastics are just so freaking cheap that anything that wants become a serious alternative (aside from being a marketing gimmick) needs to be very cheap. I honestly have my doubts but I'm excited that people are looking for alternatives

Uh, how about they want to make money? And they have to consistently pay their developers and other bills? Is this a serious question?
