Can you explain what this does?

I am also very deeply invested in this question. It seems like the goto path for huge large data sets is text to sql (clickhouse, snowflake) etc. But all these juicy python data science libraries require code execution based on off the much small data payloads from the sql results. Feel free to reach out, what you are trying to achieve seems very similar to what I am trying to do in a completely different industry/usecase.

Wow. I could see this as threatening audio book narrators. However I would still prefer a real narrator to this in its current state. I think what it might be missing is different voices/accents for different characters.

This is amazing! Would be cool to add some data visualization examples. Either some python or a js library.

is there anyway to generate short unique id's from UUID's? snowflake is incredibly slow when joining UUID => UUID columns.

I'm currently in the middle of building an overly complicated analytics platform where there is a "easy mode" and an "advanced mode" they pick the devices and metrics they want on the graph, and if they toggle advanced it shows the sql it used to create the graph. So then they can edit the sql or do whatever they want.

Giving customers "secure" sql access was a must have feature from upper management, and it was very tricky/a nightmare to get right.

Customers actually liked it though, sql is king.

Advise I would give is make sure your analytics api's data models and queries are well though out and extensible. It makes it very hard to change them and rework the ux.

This is incredible. Could this be used for analytics? something like timescaledb for powering dashboards?

I like how it supports so many different databases. however it might be more adoption if it was a web-app and had a more modern ui. very cool though.

does this support aggregations? ie sum, count etc.

Can you explain a use-case of needing to use both postgres and snowflake together?

Does this give some sort of performance boost or is it just flexibility?

there is https://www.capitoltrades.com/trades that tracks the trades of legislators and politician.

However I don't know of anything that goes in depth of what you are proposing. I think a clean UI that shows something as basic as politicians voting records can make voters more informed.

Is this information public knowledge? could it the extraction of information be automated or would it require journalism and looking through paper trails?

not looking at actual hard cold data but it's easy for someone to come to this annedonatal conclusion. In Asheville NC my entire neighborhood is being bought up by a corporation that is doing airbnb/VRBO. Also very hard to get ahold of anyone in case of a noise complaint.

Man the circuit simulators I had to use at university a couple of years ago were old. They were in color and the TA's told me that was a big deal.

I think the purpose is to overcome that anxiety which requires you to be to be exposed. Maybe looking at vr snakes could help you :)
