> They need to decide of AI is a technology or an ideology.

It's a technology they wish to usher in their ideology.

> Oh trust me. We knew all along but we always viewed 'other employees' as lower caste deserving of the disdain they get.

Projecting much? There has certainly been disdain towards other fields, but it mostly seems to be the management class that gets ripped by programmers the most. HR too sometimes.

Well well well, maybe if they didnt nuke old reddit I may be still willing to click on any reddit results.

Genuinely, I don't use reddit much, but really it was the awful redesign that kept me from even reading from it when it could have still offered me some value.

Life experience? You people are retarded. There was a whole Ask HN thread the other week on how to obtain access

Do you expect AI or a book to synthesize biological lab equipment for you? Do you think that the average person has the funds to build out an RF test lab? Or do you think everything is computer science where you coild in the past get hired because the hardware required to gain anything close to hands on experience is a commodity?

> is a total economic crashout that occurs when cash flow from shaking down the post-GenX middle class becomes too low.

Won't be a problem. Whole the lower classes may eventually be forced to massively decrease their consumption, the trend seems to be the growing wealth of the upper classes more than males up to sustain it.

I've even heard about certain industries completely abandoning their traditional, middle class clientele to chase a smaller, higher class that can offer truly absurd numbers worth of spending, more than making up for the peons left behind.

The real problems they'll face will be massive social unrest and violence, but there are a number of companies working on dragnet surveillance technologies and autonomous weapons, so that will be less of a concern. Plus, the new lords started building their castles years ago at this point.
