Maybe in a country like the UK, but not in the US. The Fifth Amendment protects against self-incrimination.

Which covers divulging encryption keys because it is treated the same as compelling you to give up the combination to a wall safe which is testimonial and protected.

There is one benefit that Jev has, that it is not OpenAI and thus it's probably less likely to steal your own work.

Maybe at a bankruptcy sale; otherwise, it's a bad investment that only relieves current investors of their problem by passing the hand grenade to someone else.

If Norway, or any other country, wanted to, for far less money than buying a problematic company, they could fund a public cloud and rent it out at below-market rates to citizens, universities, and small businesses.

This is the most Euro commie thing I've heard in a long while.

Sure, get rid of factory farms and CAFO's, but I see nothing wrong with raising animals on family farms where they eat a nutritious diet in line with what they evolved to eat.

Grass for cows, pasture and bugs for poultry, silvopasture for pigs. Anyone who wants to go vegan for ethical or environmental reasons is fine, but I hate this idea that all of us have to fall in line with your crazy ideas.

Why not go all the way and establish your own publicly owned central bank and establish an alternative to the dollar?

Oh, yeah, the US will send the CIA or the military in and take you out and make you take on IMF debt to ensure your future compliance.

Clearly, there are limits to what tech alone can accomplish.

Thankfully I'm employed, but from what I've heard there pro diversity bias against hiring straight white males.

Does that have any basis in anybody's personal experience?
