The "ol fashioned" sole proprietor neighborhood dentist/doc office is gone. The trend is corporate or franchise mega practices with focus on production i.e. profits. The medical and legal fields are all "practicing".

Perhaps a knowledgeable "insider" purposely selected the song as a warning "flare"..or perhaps the marketing folks are clueless.

Delved into Russian literature during the "pandemic years". Reading "Crime and Punishment" was definitely the latter but used a study guide to assist (read guide after reading the book chapter). Then the "Brothers..." followed by other authors Turgenev "Fathers and Sons" and Tolstoy's "The Resurrection". Many lessons to learn by these brilliant writers.

Data centers are uber resource hogs: land, water, power. They compete for the same resources as other industries but also against the local citizenry. Who benefits from mass consumption of the resources and at what cost. Age old debate.

Great resource for categories and research on supplements. Because supplements in U.S. are in the "wild west" of regulatory oversite, its important to know ingredient efficacy and ingredient purity. Consumer Labs (pay for subscription) offers some testing on selected products. Need to tweek "purchase from other market" -not all markets are "Out" as indicated.

Was in Barcelona and my co traveler said we will visit and tour Sagrada Familia..had no idea what it was. You cannot tell by looking at it from the outside what magnificent coordination of color and architecture awaits. Was fortunate to visit on sunny day. The stained glass windows created an ethereal kaleidoscope of colors in the cavernous interior.

The "giveaway" is the fact that "Microsoft is happy" with the return of Mr. Altman. Can't wait for the former boards tell-all story. Bets on: how a founder of cutting edge tech company wanted world peace and no harm but outside capital forces steered him to other "unfathomable riches" option. It happens.

Local zoning in US dictates many sidewalk placements. For example, Stafford, VA literally has sidewalks to nowhere. There are strips of sidewalk in front of a business or development un-connected to anything-there is no walking on those sidewalks. They are more like lawn ornaments: fun to look at but serve no purpose.

Depends on what your goals and motivations are: fitness, self defense, discipline, fight boredom, learn a new language, time commitments..etc. And why just learn 1?

Cannot recall anytime in modern history in which a major political party is influenced and supported by an ethereal conspiratorial group that only "exists" on-line and in the minds of its followers. A fanatical follower even showed up at the U.S. Capitol on 1/6/21 dressed in a shaman costume.

Social media thrives on the concept of "followers", which sounds more like a "grooming" stage for authoritarians.
