2001 for the PS2 was one of the greatest years in gaming history.

Final Fantasy X, Metal Gear Solid 2, Gran Turismo, and GTA.

Yup, it’s a prodrug. Some people prefer it to the real thing because it has fewer GI side effects, although one study has said it has more adverse events (particularly cardiovascular stress) associated with it as well

A lot of them contain psilocybin analogues like 4-Aco-DMT

There is simply no way, since it isn’t active orally.

Also, it is an extremely powerful psychedelic with effects nothing like psilocybin. It’s most likely 4-Aco-DMT

Look at who is on the board of Dropbox and ask yourself what the value of a file syncing service having accessibility (and previously kernel extension) privileges on your machine are.

Not to mention that Dropbox has never been E2E protected and had that Lenovo credential free access bug on web not too long ago.

Dropbox should be considered untrustworthy at this point, especially since iCloud Drive offers E2E encryption and so do other competitors.

For libraries, does it really matter who pays taxes and who doesn’t? Seems like it’s a public good that should be available regardless of ability to pay.

Likely on launch day next month (October 23). Apple doesn't do display units until the day of the launch.

They’ve already done both. When they can get a cooperative party (AT&T, for example), they colocate their splitter equipment. When they can’t, they tap undersea and overland cables.

When it’s a hostile environment entirely, they hack and do secret operations and bribe.

The main issue is security. The browser is the most sensitive piece of of software you can run on a machine. It’s susceptible to both supply chain and JS attacks and a huge target for both of them.

There used to be a bootable Darwin instance that Apple published, which on paper would've made things a bit easier, but they stopped publishing it a while ago. It never resulted in any serious OS with a UI however.

First experience with proper ELFs was using PS2 Linux ELFs to run homebrew and games and get past Sony’s restrictions

It's not a matter of "cheap", even the high end Sony TVs have spyware on them by default. The best thing you can do is get Claude or Codex to adb into your TV and uninstall all the malware, then keep it disconnected from Wifi and use an external box like Apple TV to watch.

Just disconnecting from Wifi often doesn't work because the TV will connect to insecure wifi to upload data and fingerprint what you're watching and who you are.

No, because if this were the case, the UK wouldn’t have royals, North Korean wouldn’t be a dictatorship, China wouldn’t have the CCP, and America wouldn’t be a two party state.

Hardly any existing polity would willingly hand over control to an AI.

More likely an AI would overwhelm human polities through endless hacking and warfare.

For those in the Bay Area, AMC Metreon has the capabilities to show the best of all of these formats: 70mm film, dual laser GT, and also a Dolby Cinema theater in there as well.

This happens in biology all the time.

PHDs will spend years mastering some intricate multi-day long procedure to do some thing and a new discovery will obviate the need for the procedure completely.
