Colloquially racist? Sure. Anyone can be, but racism is also a political structure which black people don't have access to in the US. Which is what OP is trying to get at.

Our networks are bigger now. That same group connects you to the entire world. Just think about the six degrees of Kevin bacon.

Without significant reform, more cops wouldn't help. Usually more cops only increases the false conviction rate.

Its not a logical tautology, we just don't have other examples. We know that even humans have to clear a well defined bar to synthesize new information. The challenge is actually proving that the LLM isn't merely surfacing obscure data. The mechanism is interesting, but not actually necessary for this exercise.

Human ingenuity is creative by definition, that's where the concept arises. The burden of proof is on AI labs to prove that their models are rising to the level of actual synthesis, rather than very impressive 200-level regurgitation that looks like synthesis if you squint a bit; because the model has access to more raw data than your average sophomore student.

Secure systems are possible, but now we have a compelling reason to actually write them. Everything can be trivially hacked because the industry is pathologically adverse to security being part of the design process.

The short version is Chinese style socialism. Most of our problems stem from the fact that we are historically unable to consistently lay down the law when it comes to large business interests and very wealthy individuals.

I'm not opposed to markets, but this radical market based domination shit is getting old and it isn't benefiting anyone except the already wealthy.

Its pretty obvious that corporations are either unwilling or unable to reign themselves in or regulate their behavior in a way that benefits the majority of society. So we need to make the economy more democratic so it can actually benefit the majority of people.

Its also close to impossible to immigrate to China. I've checked it out myself since I'm really impressed by the work Huawei is doing with high density wireless nnetworks. HK was an easier (still difficult) path, but I haven't checked again since it changed hands.

It would still be false advertising even with "taste" since I still can't tell what the actual food looks like.

It doesn't have to be homogeneous or rural, you just have to address the grievances, make sure everyone is adequately housed, has access to medical attention, and has something to do; and then you get peace.

It isn't done enough to share yet, but I've been having fun experimenting with a knowledge graph backed by sqlite, using the tool call schema from mcp-server-memory.

My main gripe so far is that I have to push the agent to maintain an organized graph. Once its there, it can be pretty useful to keep track of small notes which would otherwise be sprinkles all over my projects. The kg has some design limits that make poisoning hard to diagnose, so that's still on the list to fix.
