I use TE Tuner and like it. I don't use all the features, but the tuner and metronome are pretty great.

I'll use it if you allow zed-rhythm as well

> feels like they've opted for a more frequent release cycle

Their OS releases have been yearly for about the past decade I think.

This hasn't been my experience. I worked with a man years ago that was relatively fluent in English, but whose thick accent made understanding him somewhat difficult. Listening intently was required to understand him and he would often need to repeat himself, even though he was using the correct words and grammar. It's something he ran into pretty often at the time and he worked to improve it. Something like this app may have helped him. Slight accents may be "just top dressing," but this is most definitely not always the case.

I know the bag check isn't the focus here, but I always just politely decline. After I've paid, I own whatever is in those bags and no, you can't look in them.

I would be put off by it as well, but good memory and cameras are harder to spot, so the lack of a notebook doesn't offer much protection.

I am a native English speaker and they/them being used in this way has become more accepted and recommended over time. I was taught explicitly not to do this when I was in school, but that was a few decades ago. Using he/him when gender is unknown or unimportant is regarded as exclusionary. Usually, it'a not an issue, but I find it does sometimes make things more difficult to parse or understand without additional context. In this case, there aren't really any drawbacks.

I do see it as a TeeSpring problem. This particular bug got in my way 2 weeks ago when I was attempting to buy some merch to support a youtube channel I frequent. I almost abandoned the purchase.

A shopping site breaking checkout when there's a google analytics problem is madness, IMO. uBlock Origin is hugely popular. With 10M (claimed) active users, you should probably be testing against uBlock Origin for your e-commerce site.

As an aside, buying from TeeSpring was a little... interesting. You add the items to your cart and pay like at any other site. Instead of being charged for the total, I got invoiced separately for each (including separate confirmation emails), along with 5 or 6 duplicate shipping notices for one of the items. My credit card was also charged separately for each item. I get that there are probably reasons for this purchase flow, but it's not implemented well.

I got my stuff and all is good, but the whole buying experience was janky.

Like Electron, with Tauri you write your GUIs with HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Electron uses Node for the client-side non-GUI functionality, while Tauri instead uses Rust binaries to accomplish same. That's the alternative part. Node is not needed at all in the final build, although it may be used to create your app before bundling for release.

The exploit targets Cellebrite, not Signal's own software. Cellebrite is running on the machine doing the extracting and not the device containing the original data.

It's entirely possible that I'm wrong and this will cause your phone to explode, but if you don't trust the Signal developers enough to assume they won't intentionally explode your phone, you probably shouldn't be using their product.

I only approach EPA estimates when the tank nears empty and my right foot changes its behavior dramatically due to anxiety. I don't doubt that it is possible, but I find the kind of driving it requires to be unenjoyable. I don't have a lead foot and I enjoy spending less money to travel a given number of miles, but I do not often reach the optimal MPGs.
