Did you read the whole thing? I'm not seeing where you're disagreeing with the article

Not if you take option 2, just don't use AI. The companies have to account for where they used AI in order to own the rights, if you didn't use AI, there's nothing to prove. If someone takes your work and you sue them for infringement, and there's no evidence you used AI, then there's no reason to dispute your right to the work

This argument doesn't make sense, America has already offloaded most of its manufacturing capacity and is already failing to keep munitions assembly lines at pace with a far smaller adversary.

If this were about domestic armaments production then why did they spend 50 years offshoring all of the steel and machine production? And directly subsidizing the Chinese capacity while they were at it?

He's a racist right winger that did a Nazi salute. It's perfectly fine to call him a Nazi. Grow up

Eta: you are deliberately ignoring the people languishing in immigration camps and murdered by the secret police thanks to the candidate Musk funded, i wonder why

As opposed to the ethical oil industry?

The best option when it comes to cars is to not own one.

(Not that i judge or anything, i have a 10yo corolla but i drive it maybe once a month, between my ebike and public transit i have very little use for it)

I've heard of year+ backorders on parts for ~5 year old models recently. High volume slightly older cars like a 2015 corolla sometimes even have backorders despite how many are still driving

Enterprises pay API rates though and they account for the vast majority of revenue

I actually would absolutely love it if my mobile device gave me complete control to remove the parts i don't like and don't use, that'd be lovely. Instead you gotta install Graphene or something.

Or you could pay the NYT to hire professional chefs to write you recipes, like these people were. You don't pay them if you're satisfied with slop, the slop is everywhere for free
