i dont see how that is separated from the underlying infra. If the network/server/some dependency goes down, the blackbox test will fail and you'll get paged.

I use Firefox for iPhone. Sorry At least if probably wastes less energy than messing around with generative AI

The same AI summaries that told people to put glue on pizza? And got mass coverage for providing all sorts of incorrect info?

Came here hoping to see something like this. Glad to see it’s the top comment. Part of the beauty of climbing is solving a puzzle and figuring things out.

Edit: Unsurprised to see the demo on a gym route instead of actual rock.

Or maybe, just maybe, it’s that the dude spews whatever out of his mouth and the broader public and media take him at his word when time again its been seen that his word doesn’t mean shit.

A few that I’ve encountered:

- Feature generation for machine learning model training (particularly popular with fraud detection at financial institutions) - social networks (think LinkedIn or Facebook) - supply chain analysis and optimization - healthcare patient data analysis (looking at similar patients to recommend treatments or do large scale analysis) - user identification (eg taking lots of data points and tying to a specific user). There’s a more specific name for this I can’t remember off the top of my head.

Use Zulip at the company I work and I love this product. I've really enjoyed it as a chat application over the past couple years, as well as developing bots on top of it.

I relate to this. Turns out it was undiagnosed ADHD for me.

I'm a 25 year old managing a global team of 8 people. I'm self-conscious about my age both in my 1:1s with my reports and when talking with customers. That being said, it seems like things are going well. My team is doing great metrics and achievements wise and the company we work for tripled in size in under a year.

An MTG limited player named Ryan Saxe created an AI that drafts and builds deck to a highly successfully degree: https://github.com/RyanSaxe/mtg

He was able to reach Mythic, the highest ranking tier on Magic Arena. Of course this is a different problem to actually playing the game (and probably significantly easier). That being said, this is one guy doing it as a side project with restricted resources.

I imagine that MTG could played quite successfully by an AI if someone where to dedicate the resources. Imo much of the difficulty is in laying the groundwork. Large amounts of data don't exist publicly and laying the framework for a bot to play itself would be quite difficult (and then the computation costs would be extremely expensive).

What kind of methods do they use to go about “cancelling the asshole”? What information are they accessing that they shouldn’t be? What kind of tooling are they misusing to do this?

What are the results of their actions?

I think I still have my printouts of the PLL algorithms somewhere…

Cool to learn this is the same guy.
