I really like this! I'm not sure I can fully commit yet, though, because I don't want to invest in a new app without some assurances:

- Is this for the long run (I know you can't know, but I'd like to hear you out) - Will it transform to a paid service? - Will I always (at least before stopping the service or putting it behind a paywall) be able to export the content to store it myself, offline, so I own the data? - Is it open source? - Will I be able to sync it myself with an external provider? - Who are you? Why should I trust you? There's no info whatsoever anywhere, not a contact, not a privacy policy, a legal note. - Is the content encrypted?

I would really like to put my work notes in a place like this, it really looks great, but right now, I can't commit to it.

That said. I love this and wish you the best of luck! Maybe sometime I'll be a user :)

I love this! But won't the machine easily pick up on this?

What do you do with it? Genuinely curious!

This is like porn for me :)

It's one of my favourite things, looking at and analyzing older interfaces. Some are lovely, some are cute, some are ugly, but most are... "naïve"? I love to think about the effort, the research, the trials and tribulations. I feel I will spend a great deal of time in this page!

Right. So you don't ever donate to anything, right? Just in case. The future. You know?

Did you do it before they did so?

I suppose you could have a gasoline powered battery and then charge electronics with that, no?

The obnoxious hijacking of the scrolling is present on desktop too. Can't read the small box because it'll scroll to the next project. Why?

"May be able" refers to collect, which is entirely up to the app. It does have access to password as you write them with it. It doesn't know what you're writing and it MAY collect. But it's not clear if it does collect.

So you don't grok it. You understand it, but don't grok it. Respect the martian :)

But Linux is getting better each year (seriously, KDE is amazing, Gnome works well if you like it), made by hundreds of independent people, while Mac is getting worse, made by one focused company.

I've had no problem whatsoever with 2 laptops regarding power management or audio.

Get a major distro and major software if you don't want to wander into problems.

I agree, but it is there: perfect amount of sugar: 0, perfect milk-to-coffee ratio: 0 to 1.

What really gets on my nerves is the justified text...

Well, the idea of Linux was "a better minix" and "I’m doing a (free) operating system (just a hobby, won’t be big and professional like gnu) for 386(486) AT clones".
