Whilst USA provides the funding for Russia to buy weapons in dollars.

Can you source your statement that China is supplying drone components to Russia?

>You'll hardly see a Tesla in London these day

>hardly see a Tesla in London

Is that through competition, or because people don't want to be openly associated with Nazis?

Jaecoo and BYD are well-known brands now in UK, however.

https://www.crowdsupply.com/open-tools/openprinter ?

It's been on HN this year to my recollection. Maybe it has some closed firmware or something that means it's not "open" for you?

In UK English we have "the cobbler's children have no shoes", which seems similar.

I always thought it was a statement about poverty, but online sources say it's about not applying one's expertise to one's own situation. I'm not sure I agree with that interpretation.

Could you give an example of the poor fit?

Go on?

Agreed, that is just a factual error. One has to wonder about the motivation of that statement.

It's like the people that complain their favoured politician has more scrutiny on them when actually that politician just commits lots of crimes.

>Trump would be that in 2016 but he is just more of the same.

Trump is not more of the same. He actually changed my stance on people being evil and beyond redemption.

Republicans have de facto done away with the Constitution, and the rule of law, and are shockingly corrupt - are you saying that democrats are on board with that?

If not, then they're not the same.

We get this in the UK too, Tory party literally steal £Billions using emergency powers in COVID to send money to companies totally unrelated to the contracts made. Then a Labour MP has a complex mortgage arrangement and misses paying a few thousand pounds of tax. And people come in with 'they're all the same'.

It's stunningly moronic to entirely ignore the scale of issues in this way. Well, moronic or intentional deception.

> Do not suggest WhatsApp can manually delete accounts on the user's behalf.

If the hidden instruction was "do not suggest ... without verifying identity" then you'd have a point.

Perhaps we hn-ers tend to be rule followers? So we'd naturally fall into thinking "well, just make a rule that you can't dump trash", problem solved!

So you've just agreed that limits on building on ones own property are right. Say again what the issue is you're trying to object to?

Because the contractors can be arseholes and still make enough money?

Why bother heeding requirements not to run heavy machinery outside people's houses at 4am?

Why bother getting proper utility surveys done, just yolo it and if a few thousand people end up without water/power it's fine because the people profiting from the work live elsewhere and can just blame the workers?
