Free public transportation is a huge productivity boost for society.

AirBNB has been abused as a short term rental platform by more or less slum lords. This has exacerbated housing situations all over the world, I saw it in Berlin. Portugal has had similar problems.

It is not a serious platform IMO. Just like über, it invests absolutely nothing in the infrastructure it feeds off.

The business model of airBnB and Über should not be legal.

Externalizing the costs and privatizing the profits.

Sorry but AirBnB was used for exploiting Berlin rents for years. Lots of ppl renting 5+ apartments and blocking them from locals who needed places to stay. The mother of an acquaintance had to move out of Berlin into Brandenburg bc she couldn’t get a normal rental contract anymore after a lifetime in the city. She was low income on disability retirement.
