It says right there in the blog post - bike theft prevention.

AirTags are less useful for that use-case right now since the bike thief will get notified of the existence of the tracker on the bike once they transport it, and are hence prompted to find and remove the tag.

It's not going to be entirely virgin since you need to actually clear some amount of paths to be able to lay down tracks, but you certainly don't need to clear it entirely. I'd say that cross-country ski tracks are compatible with forest conservation goals.

Linux works quite well for gaming these days. I have a desktop that used to run Windows 11, which is EOL, so I was faced with either upgrading to Windows 12 or trying out Linux on desktop.

So far there have been zero games that have had issues. Granted I've only really had time to play 5 or so games, but I am genuinely impressed with how far it's come.

High-intensity exercise is obviously good, but beware of the trap of doing just high intensity exercise and doing it too frequently - the body does not handle that amount of stress particularly well, and it will be counterproductive to your health.

Low intensity exercise that holds your aerobic base is vital as well - and for a well-rounded exercise week, it should constitute the majority of your exercise time.

That is not to say that you should neglect higher intensities, it's just that you cannot do them as often due to the disproportionate amount of fatigue they generate.

I have a domain and a contact email address for that domain that I have exclusively used through GMail, I guess this means I need to figure out a different path forward for that, then?

This is actually wrong, it was never QT. It was however not built with web technologies back in the day

>Unfortunately on MacOS it seems you have to use Amazon's app to access the filesystem.

I can recommend using a Filebrowser plugin for KOReader, that way you can access the file system over a web interface and upload that way. No cables needed or anything, quite convenient.

Adopting interactive rebasing along with curating my commits for the benefit of the reviewer has been the best upgrade I've made to my git usage in probably the last five years.

It plummets. Standardizing the building process and building at scale unlocks some major efficiencies.

Were you under the impression that it would be the opposite?

Municipalities have far-reaching power in deciding what gets built where. Getting things built can take quite a long time.

I think the reason behind using React and JavaScript is simpler - these tools are heavily vibecoded, and React/JavaScript is what was most present in the training data and as such is what the models excels the most at generating.

The crappy laggy UIs have the same root cause - heavy use of vibecoding with lackluster quality processes

Books3 is public data on the internet in the same way that the Claude code source code is public data on the internet.

Except Anthropic published the Claude code source code themselves, while Books3 was not published by their original authors.

Electric assist helps with the wind.

Or just building some fitness, which in my experience comes automatically when you bike
