I get the foot gun concern. But it's true going the other direction too.

Whether or not the gun fires comes down to what you're most accustomed to

Almost entirely work, like >98%.

I might spend more AI on personal things but that would require a personal life first lol

> Some of these users are overreacting ridiculously to ai.

These are paying customers with overwhelming negative reaction. It doesn't matter their reasons.

If you want to keep your business, you listen to your customers.

I like the reference. A lot of people in tech don't realize they're actually Skinner when it comes to AI and what users want.

I spend around $10k in tokens each month, I live and breath it. But conversations with family and friends in other industry grounds me to the fact that not everyone is the same.

Listen to your users.

Like gold in beach sand.

It's everywhere. But extracting it is expensive and not very economical.

Yup, that's exactly the point.

Cowlevel commenting on that topic is (unintentionally? or cleverly?) hypocritical.

This author gives too much credit to Apple. They're not a paragon of perfect design. For example, liquid. Or the austere iOS 'metro' abomination years.

That said, I'm glad the menu item icons are gone too.

Tesla cars are great. Best EV you can get when balancing cost and quality and capability. By far.

But it comes with Elon, so I drive a Rivian.

We have to keep remembering this for some reason.

New model comes out and someone says, "it can (or can't) draw ducks on bikes" or some esoteric thing. But it's not enough statistical power to claim anything other than a personal anecdote.

I got a flat tire in downtown today. Therefore, driving in downtown causes flat tires.

I have colon cancer. It's been a hell of a journey and my outlook is... not great. To me, this list seems practical but not profound.

It doesn't prepare you for all real stuff: you need to get ready to die. You need a plan for your trust, your estate, your funeral, and how your family will deal after.

You should have these plans in place before cancer because you could get hit by a bus. (I didn't because I'm stupid but maybe learned a few things the hard way.)

Can you elaborate on this?

It was the first limit impressed but majority of employees went nowhere near it.

Then they tightened it down again and again. Right now, it's at $2k/month or $24k/year and the model restrictions are and to go wider.

Still, most employees are not hitting the limit but enough are that there's an exception process

> I bet this is the guy on the call who has to correct someone who calls them SSL certs.

"Did you know there's no pumpkin in pumpkin spice?"

"Next you're going to tell me what's not in baby powder, aren't you?"
