This is a week-old blog post, and I sure still do not have access to Argon in Antigravity. (I'm a Pixel Pro AI user, and thus not a "paying AI Pro" user)

> me hate him coz media told me so

What an amazingly dumbass thing to say. Yes, there's no reasons why a person would rationally dislike Elon, sure.

I hope you realize how people perceive you when you utter such inanity.

What a time to be a radical centrist - the AI haters seem out of touch, the AI thought leaders can't stop huffing their farts and being condescending, and somehow this is on the top of HN. What a silly time.

I feel like this article was all over the place. Also, this person was really running a macOS box raw on the Internet, no firewall, nothing? :/

What on Earth are you talking about? Pixel Call Screening has been around a while (~2 years, at least), and definitely can be turned off.

Fuck X, and this place while we're at it: https://news.ycombinator.com/item?id=49403658

Cost me $500 (to a good charity, oh well) and guess what, I was fucking right. I have subby-tendancies but some of you put me to shame. Me personally? I don't like the taste of rubber.

lol, go try to just even sign up for a new X account and let me know how that goes. god damn sycophancy.

No, it hasn't. And yeah, man, I hope hackers give a shit about YC and Flock enabling the dismantlement of any semblance of privacy, and normalizing total surveillance culture.

The golden ones (as opposed the green variety that are more common in the US) are significantly tastier (at least, universally shared opinion among everyone I forced to try them) and have basically no fuzz/hair.

There's always the big bad scary word, "decentralization".

But of course, even among HNers, there's amazing cognitive dissonance among "decentralization is hard and takes effort" and "omg, of course the next centralized platform won't be bought by an insecure dictator-wannabe".

I'm not that old, it's played out over and over. I shouldn't even comment here. Decentralization or bust.

the end of that post sure did turn out a disaster and I'm not even sure what I meant. Pretty... awful.

I do know how to spell ostracized ? I'm not sure if that's what I meant? Truly a mess.

I say this as someone does NOT disable JS in my main browser (because like, I have a job), but also knows a fair bit about why Firefox inside Tails now restarts in some cases...

It's the classic thing. Across every gdmf metric, excluding with "true empathy", no one *gives a fuck* until it affects them, or someone within (1-3) degrees of separatation. And having broad empathy is generally a good way to get yourself labeled/astrocized: both about as obvious "compriate" and obvious "adversary".

I think this is why I'm sort of excited about this, even if some of it's "misguided" according to some.

I haven't seen people really care and mobilize since maybe BLM?
