Indian government is banning 1000s of posts and accounts everyday on Insta/FB/Reddit/X in India. They used to notify the user and let them know that this is a government requested tack down. Now, they just say, their automated system flagged the content.

Not related but I hope QuickBooks learn something and make their software better.

I downloaded 1700 of my transactions and use AI to build an app for it, so I can analyze the transactions and make sure that everything is properly categorized. It used to take me whole day because of the Quickbooks. It took me less than an hour to go through all the transactions.

Landlords charge what the market will bear and economical for them to own the rental.

I don't think anyone I know will own a business that is not profitable.

2 years ago, you needed Indian number to use UPI.

Took me 2 visit to fully setup. First visit to India, they are like I need a debit card. I hate debit cards, but I got it. Which got delivered to my US address. When I got there, they are like I need Indian number and I have to do KYC to update. 3rd visit, I got everything working. At that point, they also let you use US number. But I wouldn't recommend US number as roaming is expensive if you have ATT.

You also have to disable developer mode and can't root the device.

All these cable/internet service companies are incompetent as it gets.

I am paying, $1000, $1800 & $1900 for the same service at 3 different location (20 mins from each other).

Two locations, I also have old coax lines that are still active, but not paying for it.

When I bought two businesses, I learned that they were paying for a dedicated fiber but using coax service.

At one of the location, we had fiber, and paying for backup coax and wireless. But if you turn off fiber box, it wont fail over to either one.

I wouldn't surprise it was down for weeks and no one bothered about it.

Almost all new hotel/hospital TVs have access to the internet, and more than half are LG TVs, and other half are Samsung.

Previous admin allocated a good chunk to upgrade to fiber network. Provider can claim 25% of installation cost. Frontier has been using it. I heard it's about to run out.

Their workers were staying at my hotel, and putting fiber in my community. It was fascinating how frontier practically hires contractor to lay down pipes, and another contractor to pull the fiber, and another contractor to splice it and another contractor to run fiber to the house, and another contractor to come and install in the house.

Hard working helps but not enough. Connection helps more. At least in my career.

I couldn't get a job after graduation (post dot com bust). I started master, and in one of the class, I did the group project myself. One of the member of the group project was manager who got me the interview at her company and hired me.
