I had a Claude session checking the hn thread every 15 minutes following links to looks for public exploits and mitigations or anything I might have missed. Anyone posting helped a lot in us feeling safer and taking all the necessary steps throughout the day. ty

Just because far right wasn't as popular for a longer while, doesn't mean it's not far right just because more people vote for them. And you shouldn't start suger coating it to protect their voters. They vote far right, they might even be far right. If we think far right is something bad calling it what it is is the only way too go. If it's not bad the voters should have a problem being defined as far rights.

So many commands. I just started claude in a new tmux session with iterm. Told it it's running in tmux with iterm and it should spawn subagents into separate tabs. When I wanted to know the status of the fleet I just asked the primary agent.

Worked pretty well. Now if I want to automate something like that I would just ask it to write a skill at the end of the session. I'm lazy and I can't remember a couple of hotkeys or commands.

If the opinion is basically objective (of course can't be fully) your doctor shouldn't have any issue with getting a 2nd opinion, if it's from a real doctor. Would see it as a red flag if they really object.

Funniest thing about this is how the arrows look like. They aren't just straight or one clear curve. If you have ever seen what Franz draws in workshops, this mix of art and a children drawing, that's how the arrows look like.

I'm wondering if the AI has been trained on Franz. Which would also explain why the Terminator ends up with Manner Schnitten.

Funny. We have beavers in the Lobau in Vienna. But it's still dry. And yet we want to build a highway tunnel through it. Guess we just need more beavers. It's famous for it's naturism anyway.

Too much about nuclear safety was based on trust and if that fails the consequences are huge. In Europe we learned the hard way what it means if a plant is not safely build and how bad the communication is when there is an accident.

And then you are also going to trust the same people when they are saying the waste issue is solved.

If your arguments are luddites and fearmongering you have not improved trust in any way.

Moved a pax twice and my kitchen once. You can disassemble them easily. Just reverse the instructions.

Google wasn't great for a very long time. Switched to Duckduckgo years ago. I just love the bangs, because I tend to go to sources I trust anyway.

Doesn't mean I'm not also using duck.ai. It makes searching faster and more targeted. But then it's still giving me links to verify and is actually more limited, which means less hallucination and more directly going to the sources. Also it avoids having to open five pages first which all either sell your data or want you to pay.

I don't see the web or the internet dying yet. Just a lot of people not using the right tools and having a harder time accessing what's useful. But that hasn't started with AI.

Well disrespecting someone because of their cravings is indeed not contributing to the conversation. It's fine to ingest garbage once in a while. If you can make it less that's still better.

I'm just looking at the rocker engine piece. The belt is running backwards. That's the first thing I'd expect it to get right or flag if it doesn't. Human in the loop is also the quality control. If that fails the rest might have similar issues.

> Kubernetes did not win simply because its repository was public.

And here I am still using docker with compose because it's easier and works. Always saying I might be looking at swarm when needed, but then never really need it.

Just because you are using it doesn't mean everyone is and doesn't mean it has won. On the other hand yeah I want open models and I want them local as well.

They keys are stored in the secure enclave. You can't get them out. You can only let the secure enclave make calculations with it. And it needs your fingerprint to unlock.

Akamai akr should be able to do something similar, but would store the private key on your phone. It's the successor of krypton, which was bought by Akamai, and I liked that even more as you really need a second device.

I can already generate a QR code that proofs my age anonymously. It's signed by the goverment. There are libraries to check the QR code. No extra device needed.
