He was whistleblowing on Deustche bank taking advantage of their shareholders, and in turn is being paid out of a fine that they had to pay (which, of course, comes from the shareholders themselves not the accused execs) so it's a bit of a perverse incentive for him. The rest of us can stand jaw-dropped at turning down a massive sum of money, but bravo to him for pointing this out with his (seemingly selfless) action here.

Selling on Amazon at a small scale has bitten me lately as well. I had the same video card returned by three different buyers for buyer-only reasons (Bought by Mistake, Found Better Price) and there is no recourse for me and I'm out the $20 shipping each time unless I want to jeopardize my seller account

Poked through the JS to find the list of search terms since I didn't want to ruin my search history, silly list. The last one was a funny easter egg "OH COME ON DONT JUST COPY AND PASTE THE LIST FROM THE ARRAY YOU CHEEKY SCAMP"

Temperature probes are a cool but solved problem, gotta add some motorized control to the air inlets on your Weber to control temps :)

"On 26 days from the period of Sept. 1 to Oct. 14, their daily emissions surpassed those of the entire US"

It seems they claim 26 days not 1, but you are correct the initial assumption readers will come to is that every day they exceed US emissions.

Even if Visa and others would allow this approach, it would still really limit Mega's ability to get funds to the point where its not a viable business I would think.

This is something we may start to see. I think they are aggressively targeting AWS customers with lower pricing and getting companies (including my employer) to begin the move to Azure.

Yeah 4K monitor with a bit of a zoom out you hardly need mouse speed to help - got 72.3 MPH average not trying much.
