I mean, if you just cant stream video over CAN, but for infotainment MOST is fine. But you need something faster and better for your surround cameras (even if its just to stream to the driver for parking assistance)

Because Flex Ray is better for real time systems and has been around over 10 years. Don't get me wrong, CAN and LIN have their place but CAN has a lot of jitter, especially in a car when you can kinda guess how often an ECU is going to spit out messages to the other ones. The only thing you lose with FlexRay is now your controllers have to speak flexray, which is a more complex standard.

Outside of looking pretty, how is this better than say, Zim? Not that being pretty doesn't have its own merit, but I just want to know what other advantages this has :)

I am scrolling through HN on my phone and saw privacy pass isn't supported for android. Is porting privacy pass to the android version of Firefox on your roadmap at all? If not, would you consider adding it to your roadmap? Thanks.

I just searched for "dart" on ecosia and the programming language showed up on the first page of results. I also have bad luck with duck duck go, but I think ecosia proves that the only reason bing is bad is because Microsoft is incompetent

Before I say this, I would just like to say I run Firefox as often as I can and love love love it, but chrome is better, due entirely to the market share of the Blink web engine. Microsoft Teams' webapp only works in Blink. Hulu bitches about widevine until Firefox gives me the notification to enable it. Canvas (that thing all us students use) gets random rendering errors on gecko that makes the UI malfunction a lot.

People mention that more people should use Firefox because google controls the Blink engine and Gecko is the only real competitor, and if Blink has too high of market share, than google can add exclusive functionality to blink for developers to use, edging all other browsers out of the market.

Congrats, we live in that future.

Remember when the WHO didn't recognize Taiwan as a sevreign nation? Obviously the WHO isn't solely objective.

Maybe it got better, but for the past 6 months a friend and I tried to get this app to work with little success. The messages just DONT FREAKING SEND in a timely manner even when in the same room.

Right now we use Briar and are pretty happy with it. There's also signal as a better option.

Either way, IMO, Jami sucks.
