So this is an idea you came up with on Wednesday.... and by today you've thrown up a really basic site and want to charge people? Haha... that's superb.

How about you pay me to interview you first. Then I'll let you know if you're qualified to interview me.

I think the better story would have been of the 2nd fisherman that was approached. Same end result only it would have given a better contrasting perspective.

Because I'm lazy and didn't read the entire article. You got me.

You should also display the avg. buzz per week for lets say the first 5 weeks. You could also display how many weeks movies held a certain buzz level (i.e. 5000 mentions). It seems the way it is currently movies that have been out longer are going to have a higher buzz than the brand spanking new releases.

12 weeks on a remote tropical island, luxurious villa, 12 geniuses... a cook and housekeeper.. airfare.. time away from current projects... that sounds like a pretty hefty price tag per genius if it's a paid event. I think you may have trouble finding hackers to sign up when the reality sets in. I'd recommend you get to work finding serious sponsors because right now it sounds like a nice dream. Good luck good sir.
