Good point if we’re blithely making the assumption pre-industrial agg is at all comparable to current dairy and meat industries…

your ex’s cat chewed on the corner of an iPad? Does the cat have some more interesting stories of destruction since it apparently likes chewing on metal/glass, a higher level of destruction setting than the standard cat.

Well thats certainly your speculated scenario.

Well I’ll give you that only our leader is so utterly unconcerned with what actually happens to our economy that he ignorantly slaps huge tariffs on raw goods that we turn into high value goods.

But there you go, my point exactly, as you point out Canada is practicing restraint and not cutting off their own nose over our leader’s petulance and repeatedly shown to be illegal behavior around tariffs. Canada only has done reciprocal measured responses. Glad we’re agreeing on that now.

If only our leader could learn from them and stop taxing Americans just because he has a weird fetish about making Canada a state, instead he’s lashed out and started taxing Americans for importing cheap raw material like aluminum from Canada in order to turn it into higher value goods… because I guess it hurts Canada a bit to tax American importers

Trump likes to insult other leaders but goes in a rage if they reciprocate even mildly.

That seems like a similar perspective on Canadians, we rip up trade agreements and some call like for like reciprocal tariffs a lack of restraint on their part.

We’re going to have to disagree on Canadians. I would’ve called their response unrestrained but not necessarily unreasonable if they’d closed the border to American tourists or slapped on an expensive visa, and closed the airspace to American flights - probably not in line with treaties but that hasn’t seemed to stop any of trump’s policies.

That type of response would be an unrestrained one.

Reciprocal tariffs and people being less willing to visit Florida and places when Florida is trying to specifically tax them and overwhelmingly support the person advocating the take over of Canada… Oh no the Canadians don’t want to visit us, they’re over reacting!! /s

That’s my take. You’re legally entitled to your own opinion.

But that’s an irrelevant analogy.

the Canadians have reacted with restraint to someone, as in arguably the most powerful person in the world, ranting about conquering them as the 51st state and then petulantly slapping random illegal tariffs on goods from there when they didn’t roll over and play dead.

You asked why musk would be singled out but apparently you know, “I’m aware” as you put it.

You can personally elected to discard the reasons because you don’t agree…

Err but you do realize disagreeing with other people doesn’t make their reason for doing something disappear?

I’ve driven Subaru, jeep, Mazda, Chevy, ford, Toyota and ridden in the passenger of mercedes all in the past year.

Please name some cars that have standout bad/good infotainment because none of those stood out either way.

Or at least since you’re griping about what you think is a particularly bad one, name three good ones.

I’ve rented a fair number of cars in the last year. All of them seemed equally bad to me.

Like I’m sure people will have preferences or pet peeve that effects one brand more than another other, but the infotainment systems just all seem uninspiring to me. Some do some parts better while doing others worse.

Errr.. it’s pretty obvious why. Even if one doesn’t agree like I presume you don’t, it’s very well known why a large portion of people loath musk.

It’s the nazi salutes, the way he openly buys votes with illegal raffles, spearheaded the destructive chaos that was doge etc etc

Everyone knows a large part of America hates musk for those types of antics.

How are you unaware of their gripes?

They appear to be stating what’s essentially the official position of one of the parties if that’s evaluated based on actions. So is it really satire?

Why single out communist leaders? Seems more related to authoritarian leaders, of which communist leaders were just a small subset.

Heck our current admin can’t do any wrong in their own eyes, every thing is perfect and winning including the morass in the Middle East that was arbitrarily started on whim and resulted in economic chaos. Or the trade war with Canada.

Or Biden, he couldn’t do any wrong in his own eyes and that led to the current situation.

The socialism one seems to be in bad faith, like not even trying to be in line with how socialism would explain it analogously to the others.

Cherimoya skins regularly consumed cause Parkinson’s like symptoms.

Some fruit skins are okay, others are not.

And some are only okay if home grown or organic bc the skin is otherwise loaded with pesticide residues

Europe isn’t a monolith and some countries are weird about cards. Here’s two examples.

In Germany, cash is strongly preferred or was the last time I was there a few years ago.

In Norway, cash is nigh nonexistent.

Don’t mistake Germany as representative of the median European country when it comes to card transactions.
