Yet https://openrouter.ai/rankings still shows exponential growth at every scale. So demand isn't slowing down.

It goes way back, I work in AI/Ml (taken over by transformers/LLMs) space since early days of this "AI Summer". We get some nice grad school students interning from top universities. I met one during a trip to the office, from top notch school, introduced me to Triton programming when it first came out. It was early days of LLaMA just coming, when The Bloke was regularly dropping finetunes, I was joking asking him what the hacker stack was for "AI waifus" that the cool kids were using. Lo and behold he drops the name of the SillyTavern project. Which later was really educational in setting up local inference servers and in other ways, may have had to, ahem, delete some browser history.

I wonder if any doctors feel depressed about losing "creativity", or are instead yeah I can help diagnose and cure more people.

People mentioned it in the article, it used to be "innocent until proven guilty". No need for a third category.

At the same time I'd rather an experienced dev with an open weight model vs a junior dev with Claude. I assume the experienced dev has good domain knowledge and can prompt his way out of the "lower intelligence".

I'm fine with DS Flash V4.1 in code bases I have experience in, don't really notice a huge difference other than more steering is needed.

Same, I went from being die hard Terminus fan to this. Been a long time daily driver.

Yeah GP post kinda makes me sick to my stomach, ignoring this historical reality. Much like a lot of Russians would say Ukraine started the war when I distinctly remember the armed forces rushing armored columns of tanks towards Kiev, sending attack helicopters with elite paratroopers on one way missions, and firing barrage after barrage of cruise missiles.

In this case, it's also pretty clear cut. The hostilities happened after we decapitated Iran's regime and started bombing their bases/infrastructure and even a girl's school.

Pretty normal. Camera's usually stay off unless it's a 1-1, presentation, or maybe a VP level call.

Looks like they are doing 50% off to stay price competitive with DS Flash V4.1

It's funny how this definition has shifted. I feel like growing up in the 90s it was pretty clear that AGI was very related to consciousness. For instance, Commander Data in ST:TNG to pick one of 100s of popular depictions of AGI at the time.

Now the idea of AGI has been narrowed and scoped to economically viable work. Even Turing had a different idea when he asked "Can machines think?".

Because of old outdated info that gets left behind, causing confusion for future agents.

As someone making my own harness, this makes me sad. Pi is a big inspiration and one of the best open source harnesses, but there are many others. dsh, opencode, hermes, etc. MCP is such a thin layer to implement for any harness, this just seems arbitrary.

Something makes me doubt her "coffee" is a dark roast that only loosely fits in the parameters of espresso.

Distillation is not infiltrating systems and exfiltrating weights.

I had to do a double take myself, scrolled down and arrived at a similar number.

Wish I built this a few years ago!
