That's what the article says, yes. But is it accurate? The confusion of units makes me question the numbers, especially since I can find no other reference of the power usage or generation capacity of the site.

> 18 gigawatts of heat a day

Dimensional error.

Do they mean 18 GWh per day = 64.8 TJ / day = 750 MW ?

Or is this thing really going to use twice as much power as the largest nuclear power plant that currently exists?

On current GPU hardware/firmware... The cynic in me imagines in the future GPU vendors wanting to implement only loading signed weights to your card, aligned with your "subscription level", for your "safety".

Depends on the application, a web-browser that implements Happy Eyeballs protocol may prefer IPv4 if the IPv6 latency is higher.

s/IP/IPv4/g

Configuring my OS to prefer IPv6 addresses of DNS responses significantly reduced the number of web captchas I see (on NAT444 with native IPv6).

IPv4 is old and broken, use IPv6.

And even that got worse - now there's no driver name, exception address or stop codes, so you can't even web search for anything.

It would be useful if memtest output a QR-code which encodes that string.

Is there a manual for Jai, or some info on how it compares with other languages? I find it hard to find resources on it - there's no Wikipedia page, and my web searches list some videos and random github projects?

If the OS doesn't come with a package manager, how do you propose installing a package manager?

curl && tar -x && ./configure && make install ? Guess what, it's the same with more steps.

A GtkWidget is just a GObject in the category of C-style cast macros , what's the problem? :)

    CREATE TABLE passwords (
      email VARCHAR(MAX),
password VARCHAR(20) UNIQUE -- unique passwords are more secure.
-- NOTE: "20" here because we used to use SHA1 hashes
-- but there was an issue with storing binary in CP437
-- so we just renamed the field.
