"A user you’ve blocked has previously contributed to this repository." is how i know as soon as i open the github page that i won't be using this tool

we also don't have to flatten these historical events (snowden maybe making some mistakes vs the US government's spying) so we can pretend that they're of equal valence, scale and severity. they are actually extremely dissimilar and one is very transparently worse and more serious than the other

right, so this is the second one, i.e. the thiel-funded "centrist" magazine that coincidentally publishes writing from people like nina power (famous for having her alt account unmasked and her pro-nazi posts revealed).

far be it from me to criticise anyone for trying to get this website's userbase to care about anything other than agentic LLM lifehacks, but this kind of "philosophy" mag is not really a big improvement if it's just laundering reactionary ideas through a centrist-yet-contrarian technocrat aesthetic

i can never tell between them by the URLs, is this the explicitly far right German Compact Magazine or the less-explicitly far right Anglophone Compact Magazine?

"Notably, none of the designers I spoke to are against A.I. altogether. All of them said that the technology is unavoidable..."

these people are not very bright
