Totally, I’ve sat multiple times in Tesla and I don’t see what I am missing. Their interior and design is quite meh also.

You have to keep it secure, so it’s not “pay once” but has running costs, and need some kind of security scanning, citizen developer devops platform etc etc

Absolutely in that case it would be more for fiddling and having a conversation starter with friends. It also depends on how reliable your grid is etc.

What kind of electricity usage do you have? Because a used electric car probably around 20k provides you with easily 50+kwh in car to grid, + you get a working car for free.

Solar + batteries is cheaper than ever. Americans are often full preppers and DIY but when we speak about energy autonomy and efficiency they immediately get some weird allergy.

Med school has its own issues and is a very demanding learning and career path. Lots of stress, long shifts etc. I am very impressed by the people doing it but it’s not for everyone.

Anyway, who can predict the future? There are still lots of things to do in IT in the age of AI - actually, more than before. The question is most whether you like writing software and doing planning and bug fixes all day for the next decades.

“Distilled”? I mean what model is not distilled from other data? The American models happily trained from my blog and social media data without any kind of rewards. If I can pay the inference I don’t see why I wouldn’t do this. Also, I have not seen proof that the US lab do not use other models for training either.
