I disagree. It doesn't take much education to know that your laptop is going to need to be thrown away in 4 years vs upgraded.

I'd argue a lot of people care about being able to upgrade RAM more.

I genuinely don't think people care that much about thin laptops.

Could it be that thin laptops are largely an excuse to provide a need to solder RAM; which in turn encourages consumption through obsolescence?

This is only likely to be true for as long as the programme is sustainable.

We all need the prospects provided by a new points of view, regardless of our situation in life.

However, wealthy people also need to recognise privilege and support rather than take; glad to hear OP chose to support.

Apparently they had no idea it was bad in medieval times.

The wealthy were particularly afflicted, as lead was used in glazes; which common folk couldn't afford.

The common folk weren't spared though, as they were caught up in production.

I imagine it could have greatly affected the development of societal norms.

I wonder what the community vibe would have been like, in these places where lead smelting was so prevalent.

We all (now) know the effects of severe lead poisoning. Delirium and hallucinations, miscarriage and still births, anemia .. what would these forboding circumstances have been attributed to at the time?

Did people understand how hazardous the production of lead was?

It looks like the person in the photo had a parotidectomy.

I had the same two years ago.

True, but I imagine there will eventually be a tipping point.

I think the original comment may have been amended.

Either that, or I wasn't fully awake when I wrote it.

I know someone who hacked his own site using the exploit and managed to obtain a database dump.

Well, tell him from me, he'll probably regret writing the article when he reaches his thirties.

I'm waking up in the UK and thinking about the incident in the cold light of a new day, and things actually seem far worse to me.

What about our routers? What about Home Assistant? What about IoT?

Vulnerabilities are going to surround us, many of which will never ever be patched.

We may well be fucked.

But don't you understand? The aim wasn't to prevent the breaches that would inevitably happen on day one; it was to prevent the breaches that would happen after that fact. Without mobilising everyone and getting people to patch through an event, we'd be in a far worse position.

The greatest trick that Devil performed was convincing people that he didn't exist, right?
