disclosure: I work at Zapier

If you have a workflow you run repeatedly, making it deterministic where possible and using AI only when necessary is much cheaper and faster.

You can accomplish this by having an "outer loop" AI agent that's responsible for building and managing automations. The "inner loop" agent runs within the automation.

My fault: last weekend I told my wife during a discussion of climate change "hey, at least we don't have to worry that the rains won't come and the crops will fail."

Anyone who believes AI running on silicon could in principle be conscious has to believe that biological computers are conscious, right? Why aren't those people voicing more concerns?

Zelazny can’t really be beat when it comes to style and wit in SF/fantasy. Pick up Lord of Light or Nine Princes in Amber (or Jack of Shadows, or The Doors of His Face, the Lamps of His Mouth, or …)

Very cool! Also have a daily journaling app, hoping the space grows. I've gotten far more value out of journaling than I have out of note-taking.

How are sync conflicts handled in the filesystem? Say I write to a file and another client's edit wins and mine is rejected.

But I can't use my Codex plan with it, right? I have to use an API key?

Conflicting evidence: the fact that literally everyone in tech is posting about how they're using AI.
