Yeah, well, it's the best IDE I've used for PHP (or any other web development) in a couple of years.

"Think about it for a moment: this kind of open source kills genuine businesses due to the monopoly position of the company “sponsoring” it."

I hate to break it to you, but the only open source projects that last are sponsored by big companies. Most people don't want to work on edge-case bug fixes unless they are paid.

You should be thanking big companies, regardless of Monopoly status, for giving us such great, free, software. Which I might add, took lots of money to create.

"Meanwhile, the adult children of middle-aged Americans are still reeling from the Great Recession of 2008. A tepid labor market combined with student loan debt has left grown adult children struggling to find stable, long-term employment, and they’ve delayed buying a house and starting a family."

This again? Nobody was forced to spend $100,000 on a college degree with no chance at actually getting a job. Community college was and is a great option at a fraction of the cost.

On top of that, the current economy is better than ever. Lowest unemployment rate in decades and more jobs than people that can fill them.

Unless they have some sort of military, no. The resistance has no leverage over China at the moment.

They may win temporarily, but Chinese party officials will now find ways to use their censorship tactics and Orwellian state to completely destroy any future ideas of resistance from within.

It's easy to find the leaders and make them disappear. Eventually, there will be nobody left to resist because they are dead or too scared and it will be back to business as usual.

I've been talking about the evils China for at least a decade. I've met too many people that have this thought that the US is somehow worse than China, so we shouldn't have a say when they stamp out religion, crush all resistance, and murder groups and people that are deemed enemies of the state.

Future generations will look back and wonder why we never did anything about these evils.

'And talk about simpleton narratives, only a simpleton would swallow whole the idea that trump was just making a sincere plea for gathering and sharing expertise.

No politician is sincere and I'm not the one spreading simpleton narratives, like the left-leaning media, which seems to be the case most of the time.

"So he can combine a racist trope with a schoolyard taunt and that's plenty to disguise it for you. Sad."

So would you consider calling for the destruction of an entire country mostly made up of one religion/ethnicity racist/bigoted?

"Your interpretation of the 4 as "hating the US" stands in direct contradiction to their unwavering statement of love of country with a commitment to improve the US"

So let me get this straight:

If I:

1) say I love the country

and

2) am liberal

It means I love the country? Now who's fooled?

"They hate the US" is another trope to "other" those who disagree with you. Would you like me to rattle off a list of a dozen ways in which Trump clearly hates our country? It's easy."

TDS is strong with you. You seem to inject race and racism into everything..which isn't healthy.

Protecting US citizens and creating a growing economy with one of the lowest unemployment rates in decades doesn't look like 'hate' to me.

"They're as popular as ever - with those that elected them, and will likely do so again, so go back to hopelessness."

...with morons. They are all fucking idiots. You really need to admit this or we can't really have a conversation. I'm also not hopeless. I'm living a great life. If a crazy gets elected here, I will just get citizenship elsewhere.

I actually am not a big Trump supporter, but because of people like you and the constant hatred and censorship from the Left, I will never vote for a Democrat again.

Many people are now waking up to these gestapo tactics

I gave up cable 10 years ago and I haven't looked back. I now have more time in the day to actually get things done.

Actually, what you said is much more eloquent than what I said. He is saying to go back, learn from your experience and come back and show us how it's done. Nothing racist about it.

Much different that the simpleton narrative going around that he said "go back where you came from".

it's crazy to me that anyone would vote for someone that has a proven track record of hating the US and everything it stands for, let alone 4 people.

It doesn't really matter though. In the latest polling, all 4 have such low approval ratings, they will be gone in the next voting cycle.

After hearing this, I actually have hope for our future.

..but do they tell you to come back and use what you learned in government? That's what Trump said.

How are they going to 'login'? If it's a link with a unique id associated with the email address, it's essentially a password that can't be changed.

The fact that a person will need to keep opening their email is really a deal breaker. Usage will drop off pretty quickly.

The person running the meeting should be moderating it as well, which would solve these issues.

This might work when you're single. But when you have a spouse or children..you need Wifi in the house.

I cut cable years ago and stream everything. If I only had my Internet plan on my phone, I would eat through it very quickly.

I interviewed for a position last year where the company had a very successful product and was growing, but still small. They wanted to restructure everything (the way they code, teams, management style) to be more like Google.

I made it to the last interview stage, which would have been a 4 hour remote white-boarding session, where they would give me something to code and a team of developers would watch me. I turned it turned it down and found a much better position the next day.

The first stage of the interview was light technical and almost all a psychological test to see if I would be a good 'culture' fit.

The interviewer was a first-time 20-something manager that wanted to make a name for himself and had read a few silicon valley books about technical interviews. He actually told me this.

Most companies aren't Google and shouldn't be emulating much of anything there.

I'm also now sure where there is criticism that employees need to turn to 'federal assistance'. Amazon warehouse jobs have been on the high-end in terms of pay for this kind of job for many years. Well above minimum wage in most states.

I knew this was the next step for these companies. They don't want to lose millions and the easiest thing to do is change the name. At some point, the public will forget.

Because Portugal doesn't have countries like Mexico bordering it that will use the legal drug trade to further fund cartel violence and control over the country. Corruption is already so rampant, they need to fix their problems before we should ever think about legalizing all drugs.

We already have an Opioid crises in the US..and this is with legal drugs. Lawmakers are already starting to blame the legal drug dealers and creators for getting people addicted.

If drugs are legalized, a person shouldn't be able to sue the dealer or creator. In the US, it seems like the attitude is "my body, my choice". Until that choice has negative consequences and then the person with the biggest wallet is sued for damages.

I don't really see happening in Portugal.
