My concern is what happens to grid stability as we replace synchronous generators, with their enormous rotational inertia, with thousands of grid-following inverters. They can all phase-lock to 60 Hz, but without enough inertia, what keeps that frequency stable during sudden changes in load or generation?

e16 is the best Enlightenment imho. and yes its true, Rasterman is still a script kiddie! i still prefer windowmaker as my daily driver dispute it not being a fancy compositing window manager. maybe i will experiment adding my own compositor to wm one of these days
