someone went in a few days ago and fixed the formatting - although it's still wordy and LLM text-y

I attempted to fix some AI-generated content that I found on wikipedia recently - it had broken formatting, confusing + made-up text, and links on the wrong keywords; just generally very low quality edits.

I made my edits and they were immediately reverted by wikipedia's own AI bot. I gave up.

yeah we have extremely recent examples of this philosophy playing out and people are here defending it. It's bonkers!

websites are still made out of content, I think?

Claude still has to write software in a target language, often using an established framework, especially one with a lot of examples.

PHP is, in fact, exceptionally good as a language for creating websites.

Eventually someone is 'root'

Up until recently (and my intervention) my work had multiple aws accounts tied to individual people, where they had inherited a personal account into the billing org.

There are also, in business use, some domains where an executive personally owns the registration but has delegated DNS into the company. There is no written agreement.

A former employer completely lost access to a couple of social media accounts (twitter/$company, etc) after laying off enough people.
