Natural monopolies are always the first suggestions to keep public owned. And you can't have 2 water suppliers piping into your apartment from the source

And I must also add that docker containers are not actually that heavy.

I have a 10 year old, dual core, 8gb DDR3 laptop serving somewhere around 20 dockers for different kinds of services and it runs just fine. Even 2 clients transcoding some media usually works ok.

PS: It is not currently on, more due to it being a clunky machine with structural problems then the hardware itself. I should get it a 3d printed desktop case

Awesome! I was looking for something like this, and I thought I've got it with Crixet (now OpenAI Prism). I had to compile a rather heavy presentation template and Overleaf would simply time-out, Crixet being client based was the only option.

Great to see a FOSS version!

Not that this does not work, but there are services for that you could run. If you got (or plan to) a homelab, that is a nice add

Another related Brazilian interesting fact is that almost all greenery in Rio de Janeiro is replanted, since must was coffee plantations.

The last emperor of Brazil decided to replant it all, since it was affecting wellbeing and water supply to the city at the time

I have worked in the solar industry, and "soiling" is highly dependent on soil, weather, proximity to roads, etc.

And I've seen cases where it made a 30% impact. In other locations, it is a non-issue, but vegetation was a hassle.

I don't have more than 15 at once. Only when selecting hn posts to read at once. If they linger much (or anything at all) I will put the "important" ones at my raindrop with the false intent to read some day

So refreshing to see a page that is simple and yet cool. Too tired of 100% claude designed websites in hn
